Well, its been well over 3 months since I've been here. Life has definately sped up. I'm working full time at Walgreens and really loving it. I love the people I work with (mostly :-) I miss being home with my kids but I've been lucky enough to have my sister to take care of them. I know they're in good hands. They adore her!! Hannah begs to go to her house everyday and Dallen's face just lights up when he sees her. You can't put a price on that! Kayla's living in MN now with her mom. She decided that was where she wanted to be. We're hoping everything works out. She seems to be happy. Nicole has been a HUGE help since I've gone back to work!! I don't know what we'd do without her. She helps watch the kids, make dinner, clean up. I really appreciate it! Hannah and Dallen are growing like crazy! We just had Dallen's first birthday in November. I can't believe how fast its gone by. He's the funniest little guy I've ever seen. He LOVES to make you laugh. He's quite the ham. Hannah's a really good big sister. They have a good time together. She's talking so much. She'll be 4 in February and it just amazes me how fast the time has gone. Christmas is coming way too fast. Hannah couldn't possibly be anymore excited about it. She knows every christmas song out there and stops to sing along with any commercials that are playing them. Her only complaint is we don't have any no at our house. (snow)

Well, I never said I'd be super good about posting did I? Cuz...I won't. I am extra excited today though. I got a phone call and was offered a job at the new walgreens opening in town!! I go in tomorrow for my drug test and then I can start! I took my CPhT exam last wednesday and ACTUALLY passed it. Surprise suprise! I was able to find someone to watch the monsters. She seems really sweet and I'm very happy to have found her. That's about all that's new with us for now. Hope you all are doing well!!!

Newport

Well, we decided to take the day off and head to Newport with Brenda & Nik. It was way to hot to stay in our un-air conditioned house and work on the nightmare that has become our bathroom remodel. It was foggy but plenty warm to make it a great day! We checked out the bayfront (of course), then headed to the beach. Dallen got his first taste of the surf and sand...literally!!

He LOVED it! Hannah found a starfish in the sand. She wasn't overly impressed. I didn't get nearly as many pictures as I would've liked, but I'm finding it more and more difficult to drag out the camera with a 25lb writhing person in my arms! Hannah finally agreed to pose for ONE picture....

We finished the day at Izzy's for dinner. As we left, Hannah grabbed my hand and said "that was fun Mom!" I just love that she's talking now! She's got ALOT to say! Here's our tired kids ready to head home...

Sick Sick Sick

So, my whole house is now sick. Jamie's been sick since tuesday, Hannah got sick that night, and now Dallen's got it. I'm a little perturbed by the fact that my children have been sick since February!! Do they have the plague? Who gets sick in the middle of the summer? Do you KNOW how much fun a sick, whiney 3 year old is? I'd lump Dallen in there too, but he's sleeping it off. The boy slept 15 HOURS night before last and he's apparently working on his record again cuz he's still not up. Don't get me wrong, I feel horrible when they're sick, I hate it. However, having someone whine at you every 15 minutes because bobbob isn't on is not the greatest way to spend one's life. I say life because, if you were paying attention, the child has been sick since FEBRUARY!!! Okay, I've got my ranting out of my system...for now. I hope you are all healthy and enjoying your summer!!

Asshats

I have recently become aquainted with this term and must admit, I'm a fan. I wasn't as much impressed until I learned the "official" definition. I will share this information with you as a courtesy on my part...

Urban Dictionary: ass-hat
1. ass-hat One whose head is so far up their rear end it could pass for a hat; used to describe a person who is stubborn, cruel, or otherwise unpleasant to be around.

Prepare yourself that I WILL be using this term as it applies in my daily life. (Much more commonly that I would like unfortunately)
Well, here I am, starting a blog to keep you updated on my SUPER busy life! AHAHAHAHAHAHA Sorry, I guess that's only funny if you know me. Although, if you don't know me, you really shouldn't be reading my blog...that's stalking behavior and its frowned upon in most societies. If you are NOT a stalker, you are welcome to come and check in to see what we're up to. I can't promise its going to be exciting, some days the big moment is walking to the mailbox and hoping for a catalog. Rest assured though, if that catalog comes, I'll be sure to let you know!! I won't hold back! I won't keep you in the dark...unless I'm buying you something from the catalog in which case, it would behoove me to keep you in the dark at least temporarily.
